PRAY

- Changed Life Center (Northern Thailand): (a) Pray that God will provide the needs of Khmu Churches in our area. (b) Pray for wisdom and spiritual strength to continue God’s work through KSC (i.e. Changed Life Center). (c) Pray for the health of the leader Pat Boonsearm.
- Missionary John Cuddeford (UBC International Students): PRAISE GOD: (a) for the joy and encouragement that come from “being with” each other in person, and (b) that we now have a strong team to lead the ministry at UBC. PRAY: (a) for the many thousands of international students arriving on our campuses for the first time and (b) for several students in China that I have the privilege of connecting with online.
- For the Church: (a) Becky Hui’s family recovering from COVID. (b) Juliana and Pastor Will: Their calling to serve as long-term missionaries with OMF in Japan.
- Deacon Election: Pray for the Deacon Nominating Committee that God-fearing people will be nominated.
- Pastoral Search: Please pray for the process.
- EM Retreat: Pray for the camp, more people will join, and the speaker, Pastor Brandon Crain.
- Building Project: The safety of the workers. Also pray for the community on Beckwith: there are some seniors living in the area and we have met some neighbours who are adjusting to the many developments there. Take a look of the progress here:
- Community: For COVID-19, pray for the government leaders as well as the essential workers.
- World: Pray for the war, people and churches in Ukraine. Also, pray for the MB Missionaries Maxym and Anya there.
FAMILY NEWS
- Welcome everyone to join our in-person/online worship.
- The Pastoral Search Committee is in touch with two applicants who are interested in the Senior Pastor position. Please pray that PSC has the wisdom and heart in seeking the Lord’s guidance. Once there is further information, PSC will make known to the congregations. In the meantime, let’s give thanks to God’s provision and trust as He knows our needs. Continue to pray that the Lord will send a God-fearing shepherd to pastor His flock.

- EM Retreat Coming Up! September 2nd – 5th, 2022 @ Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre. Registration form can be found here. There will be no EM Worship on September 4th at Matthew McNair Secondary. You are encouraged to join the worship at Loon Lake Lodge.
