PRAY

  1. Speakers next week: Chris Lam (English), Pastor Will (Chinese).
  2. For the Church: (a) Pray for Derek Chan, his dad just passed away in HK.  He will need to fly back to HK.  Pray for his mother and the quarantine arrangement.  (b) Pray for the people infected with COVID – Alice Tsung, Don Tsung, Grace Siu, Christina Fong, and Debby Yeung.  (c) Juliana and Pastor Will: Their calling to serve as long-term missionaries with OMF in Japan.
  3. Pastoral Search: Please pray for the process.
  4. Building Project: The safety of the workers and the completion of the project in 10-12 months. Take a look of the progress here:

  1. Community: For COVID-19, pray for the government leaders as well as the essential workers.
  2. World: Pray for the war, people and churches in Ukraine. Also, pray for the MB Missionaries Maxym and Anya there.

 

FAMILY NEWS

  1. Welcome everyone to join our in-person/online worship.
  2. Pastoral Itinerary: Pastor George is on vacation July 10th to August 7th, inclusive.
  3. Baptism & Membership: If you would like to advance your faith to the next milestone, contact Pastor Will.  Here you can find the Baptismal form and the Membership form.  Note: Teens under 16 year-old need parental consent.  Baptismal Class starts on August 7th and Membership Class on August 28th.
  4. EM Retreat Coming Up! September 2nd – 5th, 2022 @ Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre.  Mark your calendar!
  5. Safety Guideline: For the safety of our church congregation, we will continue to require masks for indoor gatherings. Thank you for your cooperation.

  1. City of Richmond Adopt-A-Street Program / Prayer Walk: We have adopted Beckwith Road where our new church site is at. OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES

  1. The 60th annual CCWC Winter Conference will be held this year from December 27-31, 2022 at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel located in Richmond.  The theme will be United: All For Jesus (John 17:20-23).  Registration will begin in the summer.  More info to follow, please contact Hilda Wong for any inquiries.
