FAMILY NEWS

- Happy Father’s Day! May God bless all fathers with a Happy Father’s Day.
- Pastoral Itinerary: Pastor Will is on vacation June 19th to July 1st, inclusive.

- Deacon Nominating Committee (DNC) has been set up: two current deacons – Alice Tsung and Hilda Wong, two members – Mee Leng Kee and Paul Tang, and appointed pastor – Pastor Will. According to the bylaws, each term of a deacon is two years. After the first term, a deacon can be re-elected for a second term, after which, a one-year break is required. Among the four existing deacons, Alice Tsung, May Ng and Pearl Lin will finish their one term of two years. Hence, we will need to elect three new deacons to the Board of Deacons in 2023. Pray for the DNC, and pray to the Lord for committed leaders to respond to the calling as deacons to serve alongside with the pastors. Deacon nomination has now started. Instructions for nomination: Before July 3rd, email to Pastor Will (william.hui@rpgmbc.org) with the name of the nominee and the names of the two nominators. Once the email has been received, the DNC will confirm the nominators.
- Church Picnic: This year’s church picnic will be held on Saturday, July 2nd from 9:30am to 3:30pm at Deas Island Regional Park in Delta (6090 Deas Island Rd, Delta). Regular price $20 per person ($15 for children and seniors). Today is the last day to sign up. Sign up through your fellowship leaders or contact Kelvin or Justin after worship.
