PRAY

  1. Speakers next week: Walton Pang (English), Pastor George (Chinese).
  2. Missionary John Cuddeford (UBC FOCUS Club): (a) Praise the Lord for the students who gives their lives to Jesus and were baptized over the Easter.  (b) Give thanks that it seems like students can return to campus in the Fall.  (c) Pray for wisdom to continually discern where and how God is leading us in reaching students under covid restrictions.
  3. For the Church: (a) Allen Lam’s father who was admitted to the hospital due to heart problems.  He was discharged.  Pray for his health and the follow-up.  (b) Loratta Tin’s father: In the hospital due to UTI and liver infection.  Also pray for his health and follow-up.  (c) Thanks to the Lord!  Pastor Will’s father has been moved to a long-term care home (temporary); Pray for his adjustment.  (d) Pray for Vinson’s physio / rehab, and pray for the family as well.  (e) William KC Chan’s thyroid.  (f) The condition of Mrs. Luk (Betty Wang’s mother) has improved; pray for the Lord’s healing.  (g) For the people whose jobs are affected by the pandemic.  Also, pray for the brothers and sisters looking for jobs.
  4. Exams (http://tinyurl.com/kp3k92n): Pray for the college students working on their final exams and papers.
  5. Building Project: Praise the Lord!  The Building Permit was released by the City of Richmond on March 15th.
  6. Pray for our government: Please pray for wisdom and guidance for Canada’s politicians, that they may not err and that they be provided good judgement in the coming 3rd readings on the C-6 Bill.
  7. Community: Pray for the protection against the COVID-19, and pray for the government leaders as well as essential workers.

FAMILY NEWS

  1. Welcome everyone to join our online worship.
  2. Baptism & Membership: Baptismal classes will start on May 1st, membership classes on May 22nd.  If you would like to move your faith to the next milestone, contact Pastor Will.
  3.   5. City of Richmond Adopt-A-Street Program: We have adopted Beckwith Road where our new church site is at. Let us keep the area clean and safe through garbage picking and snow shovelling during snow season.  Due to social distancing and government’s restriction, the event has been postponed until further notice.  If you have any question, please contact William KC Chan.
